Beth-Ann Barrett
Beth-Ann Barrett is the President of the Friendly Kitchen Board of Directors. Beth-Ann has worked at Northeast Delta Dental since July of 2000 as a Billing and Enrollment Coordinator. She is a longtime volunteer of over 30 years at the Friendly Kitchen – coordinating and leading a group of her fellow church members, as well as a group of Northeast Delta Dental colleagues. In 2014, she received the Spirit of New Hampshire Award in recognition of her efforts at the Friendly Kitchen. In 2019 she joined the Board of Directors, as a way to further her commitment to the Mission of the Friendly Kitchen.
Beth-Ann lives in Loudon with her husband, Chip. When she’s not working she enjoys reading, cooking, tending to her flower garden and canoeing on local ponds. She has raised two daughters and now enjoys trying to keep up with four grandsons.
Kate Daniels
Kate Daniels has served as the secretary to the board since her appointment in 2008. She lives and works at St. Paul's School where she is the Director of Academic Support. In addition to her work supporting students, she is the head of a boys dorm, coaches the girls cross country team, advises the Young Women's Club, the Yoga Club, and the Mindfulness Club. Prior to her move to SPS, Kate worked as a special education teacher in the Concord School District for almost twenty years. A graduate of UNH, Kate holds a Bachelor's degree in Spanish and a Master's in Special Education.
Ryan Frazier
Ryan Frazier is a Commercial Loan Officer at Merrimack County Savings Bank in Concord, New Hampshire. A graduate of the Class of 2007, Ryan earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Finance from the University of New Hampshire and is also a member of the Class of 2019 from the New England School of Financial Studies. Ryan joined the Board of The Friendly Kitchen in October of 2019. He lives in New Boston with his wife Amy and two sons Braden and Austin. In his spare time, he enjoys the New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox, Dave Matthews Band and Marvel Movies.
Pamela Telfer
Pam is a resident of Hooksett NH and has more than 25 years of experience in leadership roles with Lincoln Financial Group, a Fortune 200 company. Pam currently holds the title of Vice President Product Compliance in the Enterprise Ethics & Compliance Unit of Lincoln’s Legal Department. Pam has previously served on the board of 2 non-profit agencies in the state. Most recently Pam has been an active supporter and fundraiser for the food pantry at Broken Ground School in Concord that was started in 2019 through a partnership with the Lincoln Financial Foundation and the New Hampshire Food Bank to meet the needs of food insecure students. Pam has been an active supporter of the Friendly Kitchen for many years, from supporting donations for company based food drives to preparing and serving meals with her Concord and Dover based co-workers. In her spare time Pam enjoys reading, working out and hiking with her rescue dog Robbie..
Bill Christie
Bill Christie is a Shareholder and Director at Shaheen & Gordon, PA, where he has practiced law for over 25 years. He has been on the Board of Friendly Kitchen since 2012. Bill lives in Concord with his wife, Cinde Warmington.
Sue Buxton
Sue Buxton is the former President of the Friendly Kitchen Board of Directors. She was a volunteer at the Hope House on Montgomery Street and was invited to serve on the Board after that building was destroyed by fire in 2011. She served on the Building Committee helping to acquire the current Friendly Kitchen property and plan for the new building. Sue holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Care Administration from Emmanuel College, a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from New England College and is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. She has over 30 years of experience working with Seniors from independence through skilled care. The hallmark of her career has been her advocacy for quality of life and quality of care for seniors. Sue has served on numerous committees including the first Quality of Life Council, a committee formed by the New Hampshire Commissioner of Health and Human Services to find ways to improve quality of care across the state and currently serves as the New Hampshire State Ombudsman for Long Term Care.
Fred Keach
Fred Keach has a BA in Communications from the University of New Hampshire, 1985 and has been a Friendly Kitchen Board member since 2011. Fred is a local business owner. He is currently serving his 10th year on the Concord City Council in an At-Large position. He has been a former board member of several other local nonprofit organizations. Fred is the proud father of three grown children all living locally here in Concord.
Tori Berube
Tori is the Program Manager for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the University of New Hampshire and also the principal of The Hartshorn Group, a consulting firm she founded in 2021, working in the postsecondary education sector. She joined The Friendly Kitchen board in December 2022 and follows in the footsteps of her grandmother who volunteered for the organization for many years. Active in Concord-based nonprofits for over 30 years, Tori earned her Bachelor’s degree from Keene State College. A Concord native, she now lives in Manchester and can often be found with her toes in the sand and a good book in her hands!
Rachel Goldwasser
Rachel Goldwasser is the General Counsel & Vice President, Regulatory at Key Capture Energy (KCE), an energy company headquartered in Albany, New York. Before joining KCE, Rachel was the Executive Director at the New England Conference of Public Utilities Commissioners (NECPUC) and she practiced law at Orr & Reno, PA, in Concord, New Hampshire. Rachel joined the Friendly Kitchen Board in 2018. She lives in Concord with her husband and two school-aged children.
