Please Give to The Friendly Kitchen
Dear Friends,
I want to start this letter with a note of gratitude to all the people like you who have helped The Friendly Kitchen during this tumultuous year. Our staff, volunteers, board members, and donors have stepped up and enabled the organization to thrive in the face of unprecedented challenges. You provided inspiration and hope during the darkest times.
There is a light at the end of the tunnel with the arrival of vaccines, and if all goes well we hope to re-open our dining room in May. We switched to takeout service at the beginning of the pandemic, and we look forward to the day when we can welcome our community back into the building.
This past year we have strengthened our connections with other area nonprofits, which has allowed us to identify and address more needs within Greater Concord. This has led to our Family Friendly Meals pilot program, which is bringing food directly to families at risk for food insecurity.
Wherever we see need, we will find a way to ensure that no one in our community goes hungry, but we cannot do this without your help. If you can, please donate today.
