The Friendly Kitchen is organized as a Voluntary Corporation and has a Board of Directors who manages its affairs. The Board meets once a month, and individual officers and directors devote substanial amounts of their time running and managing the Friendly Kitchen.
The Friendly Kitchen employs a full-time Manager who oversees the day-to-day operations at The Friendly Kitchen.
The Friendly Kitchen employs two of its regular guests to provide custodian services after each meal, a Coordinator each evening to supervise the dining room and assist the volunteer groups as needed. During the winter months, when we serve weekday breakfasts we hire a coordinator to organize that program.
