We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of community support that the Friendly Kitchen has seen in the weeks since the fire. We owe tremendous thanks to everyone who has donated money and food, offered to volunteer hours and given their services at no cost to help the Friendly Kitchen continue its mission to feed the hungry in our community. We are counting on your support as we move forward! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Here are just a few examples out of so many that show the outpouring of community support we have and continue to receive:

- NH Department of Environmental Services, Waste Management Division had a pancake breakfast and all the proceeds went to the FK. They raised $840.00!
- Local Harvest CSA, a cooperative of eight New Hampshire farms that provides organic fruits and vegetables to 300 Concord area households, is matching donations from its members up to $1,000. The CSA already donates unclaimed farmshares, fresh vegetables and fruit during the season. For more information, go to localharvestnh.com.
- Kythryne Aisling of Concord has designed limited edition earrings to benefit the food kitchen. They feature Swarovski crystal and fire-polished glass and are available for $25 through her website, wyrdingstudios.com. All of the proceeds from the sale will be donated to the Friendly Kitchen. Only 25 pairs are available, but Aisling plans a second design to be released when her "Hope Shines" earrings sell out.
- Yogurt maker Stonyfield Farm has pledged to match individual contributions of up to $500 from its 450 employees.
